Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur meet again!

Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur meet again!

The two ex-lovers came face-to-face once again on Saturday at Max Stardust Awards at the MMRDA grounds.

The gala night saw the presence of some top Bollywood stars but the ones who caught most attention were Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur .

Kareena, who missed the Screen Awards early this month, looked dazzling in a black dress at Stardust gala. She had Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim sitting next to her.

Shahid, also dressed in black, was reportedly seated just a few seats away from his ex flame. The two even exchanged furtive glances at regular intervals.

But this was not it.

Reportedly, the two met backstage for a few minutes, shook hands and exchanged pleasantries. They seemed comfortable talking to each other, but their body language was a tad too courteous and formal.

However, the rendezvous did not last long.

The evening saw a scintillating performance from Kareena. Saif Ali Khan won many hearts with his charged-up finale act. The actor danced to a song from his upcoming film Race and other hit numbers of year 2007.

The evening saw the presence of Akshay Kumar , Twinkle Khanna , Celina Jaitley , Kangana Ranaut , Vivek Oberoi , Minissha Lamba , Imtiaz Ali , Rishi Kapoor , Shreyas Talpade , Dharmendra , Gul Panag , Arjun Rampal , Anurag Basu and Irrfan Khan .

The winners were:

Akshay Kumar : Star of the year (Male) (for Namastey London and Heyy Babyy )

Bollywood film AGGAR: Aggar is shocking

'Cash', 'Gandhi My Father', 'Chak De India', 'Kaafila', Heyy Babyy' and 'Ram Gopal Varma Ke Aag' - When half a dozen biggies like this come one after another this August, it is hard for any other film to make it's presence felt. Surprisingly, in a cramped situation like this, a film that is doing wonderfully well to get itself noticed is relatively smaller Aggar'.

Akshay Kumar delivers his latest box-office baby

In addition to the three Khans – Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir – Akshay Kumar is perhaps the only other male Bollywood star to have a huge overseas box office following. His last release, Namastey London, made it to the UK Top 10 and his latest, Heyy Babyy, looks set to do the same. This Three Men and a Baby homage is released globally this Friday. The former Casanova actor, more famous in the UK for being Shilpa Shetty’s alleged cheating boyfriend, is now a respectable married man. How did he feel about joining the Khan oligopoly? “I don’t know about that. We are a huge big family. I am just lucky, maybe,” Kumar diplomatically stated.

Rocking ‘Threesomes’ of Bollywood!

An ode to RD Burman, this film starring Rahul Bose, Sanjay Suri and Shayan Munshi worked because of its realistic depiction of three friends wanting to make it big in the music world while they overcome and dodge the challenges that life throws at them.

The film was a slapstick comedy and worked well with the urban audiences. The music was a hit too.
