Nayanthara has pulled off a coup of sorts. The' ultimate' star Ajit after the super success of Billa is going to do back-to-back film with the glam queen of Kollywood!
Yes, after weeks of dithering and hunting around for a heroine which took him to Katrina Kaif and Ileana, Raju Sundaram the director has finally settled for the vivacious southie hottie. A spokesperson of Ayngaran International, the producers confirmed the new development, and said that Nayanthara has been signed and paid an advance to do the film.
Ajit and Nayanthara as a team clicked with the audiences in Billa, and also became a hot pair with the distributors. In Raju Sundaram's new film they come as a romantic pair for the first time, and their screen chemistry is sure to work big at the box-office.
Nayanthara has gone out of her way to accommodate this Ajit film, as she has given one month bulk dates for it from April. Meanwhile the actress who is taking break in Dubai, where her brother lives, will be joining the shoot of Kuselan in Hyderabad, in which she is paired with superstar Rajinikanth.

Ash gets a lofty deal for Robot
Aishwarya Rai who will be featuring for the first time as Rajinikanth’s love interest in the Shankar directed Robot has clinched the deal for a massive paycheck. Robot which is budgeted for Rs 130 crores will be made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and is said to go on floors in April’08. When the film was announced, numerous speculations were doing the rounds as regards Rajini’s heroine. Trisha, Shriya, and Nayanthara were said to be in the fray but Shankar had managed to rope in former Miss World for this prestigious project.
It has also been reported that Ms Rai has been booked for a jaw dropping 6 crores for the film. She is currently demanding 2 crores in Bollywood and 4 crores in Hollywood. After the Robot deal, Aishwarya Rai becomes the highest paid actor in the entire Indian film industry.

Aishwarya confirms Robot!
Aishwarya Rai has been confirmed to play Rajinikanth's heroine in Shankar directed Robot! The actress herself confirmed this to the Hindi news channel "Aaj Tak" and its sister channel in English "Headlines Today" that she is going to do Robot.
Meanwhile back home in Chennai it is an open secret that the director had met Aishwarya in Mumbai and gave her a one-line narration of her role in the film. But when contacted Shankar, did not want to comment on it till all the artists and technicians are signed up!
It is a typical Shankar reaction, as he would like to keep his moves on Robot a closely guarded secret till the release day of the film. And Rajinikanth also loves keeping everybody guessing till he asks the producers to officially announce it with a press statement.
