Item girl Rakhi Sawant was thrilled when Rakesh Roshan approached her for the item song in his film "Krazzy 4", and just can't stop raving about the expert filmmaker that he is.

She says Rakesh Roshan - a perfectionist - oversaw everything related to the song, costume, hair, make up, props, and made her lose weight too!

"I thank god that I got an offer from such a prestigious house like Rakhesh-ji's. Thanks to him, I lost weight and got a completely new look for my song. He is a total perfectionist. He scrutinized everything and then okayed it," said Rakhi

"My song 'Dekhta Hai Tu Kya' shows me in a very different avatar, much more Indian and softer - all thanks to Rakesh-ji, it is a mind blowing song," she added.

Directed by Jaideep Sen, the film starring Arshad Warsi, Irrfan Khan hits screens April 11.

Apart from "Krazzy 4" Rakhi will be seen in an item number in Yash Raj Films' new venture.

Rakhi Sawant has done it again. Fresh out of controversy, when she lost to Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh in the third season of the celebrity dance reality show, Nach Baliye, Rakhi made a dramatic announcement that she had split with her boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi because he was two timing her.


The equally media hungry Abhishek decided that she was too good a prize to lose. He landed at the item girl's residence in Oshiwara on Valentine's Day with roses, a huge teddy bear and, of course, the media in tow. In a scene that was telecast live on news channels across the country, Rakhi slapped Abhishek repeatedly in full view of the cameras, claiming that she didn’t love him anymore.

When Abhishek refused to give up and started to plead his case, Rakhi called security to throw him out. Eventually, however, the duo kissed and made up—but not before the queen of controversies claimed that the moment men knew she had broken up with Abhishek, she got close to 1,000 phone calls asking her out for Valentine's Day.


Well, what can we say? We have learnt to take everything she says with a liberal sprinkling of salt. After all, this is not the first time Rakhi has thrown a public tantrum. A few months earlier, singer Mikka had allegedly kissed Rakhi against her will, and Rakhi told all and sundry how humiliated she had been. Anything in the name of publicity, huh Rakhi?
