Salman Khan wants to spur brother Arbaaz's career
When was the last time you saw Arbaaz Khan in a leading role in a film. Can’t recall? Brother Salman Khan wants to change that.
Salman is apparently concerned about Arbaaz’s dwindling acting career and wants to give it the necessary push to bring his brother back into limelight.
So the actor has been in talks with good friend Boney Kapoor , in whose production Wanted Dead And Alive Salman is playing the leading role, to make a film for Arbaaz.
And Salman and Boney have reportedly decided to jointly produce a film that will have Arbaaz in the leading role. Other details like the director and the actress will be finalized before June this year.
Rumour also has it that Salman has decided to waive a part of his acting fee for ‘Wanted’ in return of Boney’s favour to re-launch Arbaaz. However, Kapoor says Salman is like a family to him and they don’t discuss money.
Arbaaz has not given a single superhit film till date. For the last three years he has been doing small roles in films like Hulchul , Malamaal Weekly , Bhagam Bhaag and Shootout At Lokhandwala . He was last seen in the short film ‘Matrimony’ in Sanjay Gupta’s Dus Kahaniyaan .
He is presently acting in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Fashion which revolves mostly around female protagonists.
