Bipasha Basu wants her role fleshed out

Bipasha Basu wants her role fleshed out

Just the lure of being the only female in the ensemble of male actors is not enough for Bipasha Basu to give her nod to a movie.

That is how Bipasha has responded to Sanjay Gupta’s offer to be the only lady in the male-dominated cast of his film Acid Factory , starring Fardeen Khan , Irrfan Khan , Aftab Shivdasani , Dino Morea , Manoj Bajpai and Danny Denzongpa .

Bipasha hasn’t turned down the offer yet, but she is unhappy with her role in the film.

In Bipasha’s words her character has little else to do than to add the “token glamour quotient” to the film. Bipasha, who undoubtedly is a head-turner when it comes to glamour, wants more substance in her role.

Unimpressed by her part, Bipasha has reportedly sent the script back to Sanjay Gupta and asked him to flesh out her character and make it part of the action in the plot rather than being an eye-candy bystander.

Gupta is reportedly reworking the script to beef up Bipasha’s character.

Bips is presently looking forward to her next release Race . She has recently been working in arty films like Rituparno Ghosh’s Bengali movie ‘Sab Charitra Kalpanik’ (All Characters Fictitious) and Sanjay Gupta’s production Pankh .
