Looking at the gorgeous Salman Khan one wouldn’t even think of him as a typical Indian protective brother! His Spiky hairdo, pierced ear lobe sporting a diamond stud, a lucky silver bracelet, Ed Hardy bling outfits, naughty demeanour... pretty much makes him the ‘cool & westernized’ guy of the Hindi film industry. (His yanky accent contributing immensely to this image too) However looks can be deceptive and so is the case with Salman!Sallu and his Khan-daan who are known to lead a flamboyant lifestyle are not what they actually look like! We got talking with Salman’s younger sister Arpita just recently and she revealed the lesser known ‘protective’ side of Salman’s to us!
“I am currently studying Fashion designing in London. My family members are related to films in some or the other way but you will never see me in it as an actor. Salman bhai has warned me not to become one or even think about films. He resents the idea of me getting into films. He encourages me to take up fashion as a profession as Seema (Sohail’s wife), Alvira... are also into it”, said Arpita.
After considering Arpita’s statement it doesn’t seem hard to believe Sallu’s ‘alleged’ objection over Katrina’s short outfits, especially when she works with Akshay!
We at Indiatimes do not believe in rumours or hearsays but after getting to know about bhai’s conservative side from his laadli behen, we so agree that he is often misunderstood indeed!
