Aryana’s my life: Mahima

Aryana’s my life: Mahima

Remembered for her role as a village belle in the movie Pardes, Mahima Chaudhary has come a long way.

From her media-centric relationship with Leander Paes, to her low-profile wedding in L.A, she has had her share of lows and highs. Though this time around she is playing it safe and we must say she is back with a glow!

Dressed smartly in a chic top and cropped trousers, Mahima looks anything but a mom! Talking about how magnificent she looks, she said promptly, "It is all courtesy motherhood. Honestly my baby, Aryana, is my life!" She believes in not having a nanny, and said, "I would like to be part of Aryana's every waking hour." Now isn't that cute!

Moving to movies, Mahima's next venture is titled Hope and a Little Sugar with Vikram Chatwal and Anupam Kher. The movie talks about the way Asians were treated post 9/11. Getting onto an equally relevant subject, we ask her if the film industry has changed in anyway in terms of the casting couch and she said, "If you are talented, you don't need a shortcut to the top. I think the casting couch exists in every industry and not just films."

Shifting the focus back to movies, she said, "I would love to do brilliant stories and not rubbish." Are Tollywood producers listening?
